About this website & privacy statement

This website is an initiative by the project team investigating the possible candidacy for the Einstein Telescope on behalf of the Netherlands. It includes employees of the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics (Nikhef), the Province of Limburg and the Netherlands Foundation of Scientific Research Institutes (NWO-I).

We use Google Analytics to collect data such as the frequency of your visits to this website, how you use it and how we can improve it. This data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to the source. The site also contains embedded content from YouTube, which behaves in the same way as if you were visiting YouTube itself.

If you submit the contact form, in the first instance your details are sent to Nikhef. In order to provide you with the best possible service and to answer your query or request effectively, your data may then be forwarded to one of the other institutions involved. It will only be used as needed to allow us to respond to your message. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
