Fourth Industrial Advisory Board meeting

On Thursday 10 November, 110 attendees from industry and science backgrounds came together for the Einstein Telescope-EMR Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) in Liège.

The border region of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (the Euregio Meuse-Rhine) is a promising site for the future European Einstein Telescope, a next-gen underground observatory for gravitational waves. Science, industry and governments in the region work together to explore a formal bid to host Einstein Telescope. This offers many opportunities for scientific and industrial innovation and collaboration.

As part of their projects E-TEST, ETpathfinder and ET2SMEs, the Einstein Telescope partners in the EMR organize the Industrial Advisory Board twice a year. The fourth IAB meeting in Liège was well attended, with 110 attendees learning about opportunities for companies, the project and funding ecosystem, challenges, and tenders of the connected projects. Of course there was ample opportunity to network with other participants.
